At the heart of GTS Theatre is Elizabeth Wylde, a visionary entrepreneur and passionate advocate for live performance arts. With a background in theatre production and entertainment management, Elizabeth has dedicated her career to creating immersive and unforgettable show experiences. Her love for the arts and commitment to preserving live entertainment led to the establishment of GTS Theatre, where she brings her creative vision to life.
In 1988, Elizabeth Wylde was commissioned to create a performance honoring the Golden 13, the first African American commissioned naval officers at Great Lakes Naval Base. This led to the debut of the Original Motown Tribute Show, marking the beginning of her enduring connection to Motown music. Through her vision and dedication, Elizabeth Wylde has ensured that the spirit and legacy of Motown continue to thrive at GTS Theatre, offering audiences an unforgettable musical journey.
